The process of buying or selling a home is a standard, sequential task of many dozens of complex steps. Each state (Virginia, Florida, etc.) may be different in details but the sequence is generally the same. Real estate agents get paid massive amounts of money for doing what amounts to very little work. On a $500k home a sellers agent or buyers agent may make as much as $12,000 – $15,000. That’s ludicrous. If the agent managed to even do 100 hours of work their pay would be $150/hr. That’s crazy.

So, Intuit should create a software package that assists any home owner or buyer in the process of listing, advertising, inspection, offers, and closing of buying or selling a home.
